Small Demolition Services: What We Can (and Can’t) Tear Down

At Precision Disposal, we’re more than just junk removal, we also offer small demolition services to help you clear out old, unwanted structures safely and efficiently. But what exactly falls under “small demolition” and what are the limits?

Here’s a breakdown of what we can help with, and a few things we leave to the bigger demo crews.

What We Can Tear Down

  1. Sheds and Outdoor Structures

Old sheds, garden storage buildings, and small outdoor structures are some of the most common items we demo. Whether it’s metal, wood, or plastic, we’ll break it down and haul it away.

  2. Hot Tubs

Removing a hot tub can be a huge project, they’re heavy, bulky, and difficult to dismantle. Our team specializes in hot tub removals and know how to safely break them down without damaging your deck or property.

  3. Fences

Wooden or chain-link fences that have seen better days? We can tear them down and haul the debris, leaving your yard clean and ready for a fresh start.

  4. Decks and Porches

Smaller wooden decks, porches, and staircases fall into our wheelhouse. We’ll take them apart safely and responsibly dispose of the materials.

  5. Interior Items (Non-Structural)

Need help with light interior demo like removing cabinets, carpet, tile, or small non-load-bearing walls? We can assist with minor tear-outs during home renovations or remodels.

What We Can’t Tear Down

  1. Full Buildings or Homes

We specialize in small-scale demolition, not full home demolitions or commercial building tear-downs. Those projects require heavy machinery and special permits.

  1. Structural Walls

If a wall is load-bearing (helping support your house), we leave that to licensed contractors who can handle the necessary permits and reinforcements needed for this kind of demo.

  2. Hazardous Materials

We don’t handle demolition involving hazardous materials like asbestos, mold remediation, or lead paint removal, because those require certified specialists.

  3. Major Concrete Work

We can remove small slabs or sidewalks in some cases, but large foundations or major concrete demo is outside of our scope due to the machinery needed.
